2 days down...infinity to go

To start with here are some beauties I found courtesy of TopShop... Love love love the black pair - architectural inspired genius I must have them!

So it is two days since I last counted down to leaving this boring place I currently call home.

I do love Perth, there are so many great things about living here - great beaches, Mount Lawley, so many fab places to eat.

However as someone under the age of 30 I feel like there is a distinct lack of life choices available to me.


All my girlfriends are getting serious with love, property and careers and all that just makes me want to have a giant nap.

Maybe I am missing the 'settle down and make life plans' gene...I don't have any desire to go out and buy a house, shoes definitely, but not property. I quite envy my friends who have their life plan all mapped out, they seem so sure of their direction, I can't decide what to wear most days...let alone a direction to head on with my life!

The latest info on the travel front is all about insurance - I need some $$ so I can pay a company lots of money in case I fall off a mountain and break a leg. Travel insurance ain't cheap - especially if you are heading to the Americas!

There is a small insane part of me that is hoping that I do twist my ankle or knock out a tooth just so I get my money's worth. I am sure in a year there will be something I do that requires me to use the insurance (I am just really hoping it isn't accidental death - as that would throw a serious spanner in the works - its a bit hard to see the world when you are dead).

So I am once again scrimping and saving and trying to look at the big picture, it is just the big picture seems so far away. Hope all your travel planners out there are doing ok, I will say a little prayer for you along with myself - lord just let the time fly quickly and get me outta here.
